Like other reviewers, I wanted to like this podcast. However, 99% of their content exists to offer “hot takes” with little to no actual information. They also throw a lot of shade at other creators, claiming that pagan and Hellenic polytheist authors must be “peer-reviewed” in order to meet their rigorous standards. I like the hosts and information they share, but it’s a hard listen at first. The first 20 minutes is filled with banter and product plugging. Past the filler, I enjoy it and will likely continue to listen.
I like that they are aiming to provide historically grounded content.

Their most recent episode on May 5th, 2025 titled “The Truth About Connecting with the Greek Gods | A Guide to Ancient Greek Religion” was 15 minutes of the hosts talking about “other creators” charging a lot of money for foods and servi... more
