  • MP Still Rocks

I was born in ‘87 (showing my age) I learned what sex was from my mom watching MP in the 90s and thought it was just rolling around in some sheets (I have since learned that’s not how it works)🤣 🤣she passed away in 2021 and recently I started rewatching some of her favorite shows and MP was one. That’s how I found this podcast and have been listening since day one. I love you, girls!! Thank you for doing this. I look forward to listening each week and watching along with y’all. Can’t wait to s... more

  • Great podcast!

I am loving this podcast and all the behind the scenes scoop from one of my favorite 90s shows. The one suggestion I would make is for Courtney to work on not interrupting Daphne and Laura. She tends to talk over them quite a bit and not let them finish their thoughts. I love her enthusiasm, but just ease up a little bit!

  • Great podcast!

Melrose Place is my favorite show so I was very excited to see a rewatch podcast. I first watched the show six years ago, but it's been fun to start rewatching again to follow along. It's been great to hear everything Laura, Daphne, Courtney, and the guests share every episode. Highly recommend for fans of Melrose, and for those who haven't watched, start watching and follow along with this podcast!

Doug Savant
Q: Did you have say in the graphic T-shirts worn by your character?
Doug mentioned that he only chose a t-shirt for the AIDS ride and that most wardrobe choices were made by the costume department.
Hope ("Burned" S1 EP 10)
Q: Is there a pattern of women in the show wearing red when about to do something bad?
That could be a conscious choice by the wardrobe team, but it needs further observation.
Hope ("Burned" S1 EP 10)
Q: Did the writers already know they were going to portray Alison's father as a sexual abuser?
The writers did put little breadcrumbs that Alison's family wasn't good, but they didn't inform the actors in advance about the portrayal.
Thomas Calabro
Q: Did you enjoy playing the good or bad side of your character more?
Playing the bad character was more fun because you have the freedom to make more elaborate choices and be proactive.
Thomas Calabro
Q: What was your audition process like for Melrose Place?
It was my 15th network test after my first series, and I was already doing a lot of directing in New York, running out of money. I eventually booked the role of Michael Mancini after initially wanting to audition for a different character.
