  • Great variety

There’s plenty of CBM podcasts out there, but SWO set themselves apart with their thorough research and off-beat film selections. Who doesn’t want to hear an in depth review of Tank Girl for example? C’mooooooon!

Episode 144: Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom
Q: Do you have like a history in music? Do you guys play music or what was it that drew you to making rock stars your protagonists?
We both played bass guitar a little, and I am really big into the 80s stuff, like Tom Petty and classic rock, which influenced our characters.
Episode 144: Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom
Q: How does your collaboration work between the two of you?
It's actually changed quite a bit; we kind of write different plots and work together on both narratives to give a consistent voice.
Episode 144: Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom
Q: How did you get into dystopian, post-apocalyptic sci-fi?
We started writing this a little bit after quarantine had hit. We were big into the zombies and post-apocalypse, and we chose the 80s as the setting for our story.
Episode 144: Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom
Q: How did you get together on it? And what are you working on currently?
We spawned the idea together. We write post-apocalyptic sci-fi. Our main series is called Continuum, and we're three books into the series.
