This is a good podcast to listen to if you want to get caught up with anything Stars Wars, recommend it for sure.
The single complaint I have with the show is how much I hear the words “uh” and “um”. Try to reduce those words as much as you can to make the show great instead of good.
The scope of coverage is good, but would be better if more research were done into production, etc., to add more perspective.
As it is, I can't handle the smugness anymore. Arrogant, disrespectful, and holier than thou — even incriminating themselves without irony to talk down to anyone who dares try to present cultural context.
I personally prefer podcasts that bring more positivity and information to the table. But it might be for you. I recommend deciding for yourself.

The Star Wars Universe Podcast provides the most rounded critique of Star Wars content I have found in a podcast. It goes wider and deeper than most, and host Matthew creates a warm, open space for guests to express their views. Occasionally discussions about particular issues continue a little longer than necessary when the points have already been clearly made, but it is far better for that to happen than for the topics to not be discussed at all. Conversations remain friendly and respectful t... more
I tuned in to this podcast to listen to discussion on the Andor finale, and was shocked when one of the hosts stated that Imperial Stormtroopers have more restraint than most American cops. I was further shocked when the other host agreed with him. As a police officer myself, I found this very offensive, insulting, hyperbolic, ridiculous, and blatantly untrue. Are there bad cops out there? Yes, and I want all of them brought down HARD. Are most cops bad? Of course not. Most of us are here becaus... more
