  • Turning into a paid podcast only.

When they put out FREE marvel episodes they are GREAT! However over time they have been trending towards more and more subscription only episodes which you have to pay for which is a real shame. In august they put out 1 Free episode and 6 paid ones. I can’t justify paying $5 a month to listen to them talk about Daredevil. Sad.

  • The ‘pay me’ podcast

It’s been a month since an episode was released to anyone other than paid subscribers. The last six have been behind a paywall. Not much point continuing to follow the show.

  • Host talks at 0.5 speed

The hosts are knowledgeable but one of them takes 10 minutes to get a sentence out. Long, awkward silences when he gathers his thoughts. The cohost doesn’t jump in and help which is weird and awkward.

The MCU is at center stage here. The hosts care about the subject matter so much. Their enthusiasm is practically contagious. If you like the MCU, give this a try. It really does put a smile on your face and heart. A genuine feel good podcast. Grateful to have it.

They believe it’s all perfect. Which creates unbalance and a skewed look into the MCU. So none of it really seems authentic. One of the hosts, the one that does all the talking, hasn’t even EVER READ A MARVEL COMIC BOOK! If you can believe that! And it does have an obvious stink of “We were here first” happening.
