When they put out FREE marvel episodes they are GREAT! However over time they have been trending towards more and more subscription only episodes which you have to pay for which is a real shame. In august they put out 1 Free episode and 6 paid ones. I can’t justify paying $5 a month to listen to them talk about Daredevil. Sad.
It’s been a month since an episode was released to anyone other than paid subscribers. The last six have been behind a paywall. Not much point continuing to follow the show.
The hosts are knowledgeable but one of them takes 10 minutes to get a sentence out. Long, awkward silences when he gathers his thoughts. The cohost doesn’t jump in and help which is weird and awkward.
The MCU is at center stage here. The hosts care about the subject matter so much. Their enthusiasm is practically contagious. If you like the MCU, give this a try. It really does put a smile on your face and heart. A genuine feel good podcast. Grateful to have it.
I was a long-time listener. And I love the MCU. But I’m no fan boy. I can discern what’s good and what’s not. But these two guys are unadulterated fan boys with no real opinions. They believe it’s all perfect. Which creates unbalance and a skewed look into the MCU. So none of it really seems authentic.
