  • BEST MOVIE PODCAST EVER!!

The guys are of the utmost knowledge of movies and cinema as a whole, except for when it comes to pronouncing something correctly, stuttering over words, or remembering the correct scene in movies from memory. Anyways, the podcast is my go-to listen for whenever I finish a movie or TV show, and they help me retain the information, all while giving me the greatest laughs a movie podcast could give me. These guys know their stuff, and if you think they don’t, there’s a good chance you will be on f... more

Dune, Mad Max: Fury Road & Blade Runner 2049 | The Sound of Film
Q: How do you approach using sound to create a world that blends with the visual and musical elements on Blade Runner 2049?
We treated sound as a functioning, evolving component that could cross boundaries between diegetic and non-diegetic. Denis Villeneuve asked us to erase borders, to compose with sound as if it were a score, so we built sonic motifs and textures that carry through scenes and acts without overt musical cues, allowing the audience to feel the mood rather than hear obvious cues.
Dune, Mad Max: Fury Road & Blade Runner 2049 | The Sound of Film
Q: How did you come up with the voice for Paul Atreides and the Bene Gesserit in Dune?
We started by exploring what we did not want—overly synthetic or naturalistic; then cast voices that could be layered with the Reverend Mother, using an ancient, commanding tonal center that could fade into the background as a larger chorus. The key was summoning a pantheon of voices that felt ancient and authoritative, not sinister, and then blending them with a surrounding hive of Bene Gesserit textures.
MARTIN FREEMAN | The Hobbit, Let's Love, Sherlock & more!
Q: What's up, Martin? James, I host a show called Raiders Of The Lost Podcast. So thanks for joining for a little bit.
Martin Freeman responds warmly, engaging with the hosts and sharing his appreciation for the opportunity to discuss his recent work and experiences, including the improvisational approach on set and the collaborative nature of indie filmmaking.
SCARY MOVIE 6 with director Michael Tiddes
Q: How did ad-libbing influence the final scenes and overall tone?
Ad-libbing was encouraged as a core element of the Wayans' approach, with the cast contributing lines that evolved on set; this created a dynamic energy that helped the jokes land more naturally and kept the scenes fresh.
SCARY MOVIE 6 with director Michael Tiddes
Q: What was the process for selecting which horror films to spoof and incorporate into Scary Movie 6?
We looked for movies that were iconic, widely understood, and culturally relevant, then built the spoof around those touchstones while ensuring the humor could be integrated into the story without losing the thread of the plot.
