This podcast is very underrated and they deserve a lot more recognition from the world. There’s not a day I go without listening to at least 4 episodes a day, the reason I watch so much is not because of my long and boring work shift, it’s because these guys know there stuff and know how to keep people like me a cine-bro interested. Yes I don’t agree with a lot of things but I think that’s why I love the podcast so much, I’m able to listen and understand different opinions on movies I either lov... more
Film Boys! Love the show avid listener on the daily! But I may have to…..Unsubscribe!!
Your recent Christmas episode left my stomach in knots and it wasn’t the eggnog! You missed some really good Christmas movies:
Sleepless in Seattle
While You Were Sleeping
When Harry Met Sally
You Got Mail
Silver Linings Playbook
If you’re going to mention Die Hard and Lethal Weapon which I agree are Christmas movies then these films also deserve their poinsettias too!
Anyways I may have to resubscribe... more
I only listen to one podcast and it’s this one. James and Anthony’s combined humor, insight, and dialogue are a delight every episode. They have great takes 99% of the time. The only opinion of theirs I disagree with is how they firmly believe order is a bottom tier Harry Potter and put Azkaban at the top which is at best a filler film due to its sidelining of the main antagonist. Order deserves more praise as it 1) gives arguably the greatest dual in fantasy/sci-fi cinema history with dumbley v... more
This podcast is the best use of being twins since The Shining👯♂️. Anthony and James perfectly bring to light what it is that film lovers feel when they watch a movie. They are able to dissect and analyze films in a way that make you remember why you fell in love with films in the first place and there is not an episode where I don’t end up pausing whatever I am doing just to crack up at their sibling banter and goofy humor. And their movie references are out of control, everybody knows that. more
Also obviously love you two, keep up the fantastic work. You guys don’t rely on enraging your listeners for engagement. Your attitudes are always sweet, positive and endearing. Keeping things clean and E rated is also awesome- I can listen with anyone in the car without them getting offended. You respect your listeners, you speak calmly and without negativity or disdain. You use your LOVE for film to garner your fans, and I couldn’t be happier to support!
