As the mother of a Vet , I can definitely relate to the issues raised in this podcast . My Daughter has been a Vet for 2 1/2 years and has experienced many of the problems mentioned. She made a decision to leave clinical practice because of this . A decision she would rather have not made had she been treated well , respected and payed a wage she is worth . I worry about her mental health . She is a competent , focused caring woman who like so many others has had to leave the work they love .
I was naive to the epidemics facing the veterinary industry. This podcast was very well put together, insightful, heartfelt, sincere and inspiring. Thank you to Caroline, to Kate and Garry, Sophie’s parents and to Dr Sophie Putland ~ for being the heart and soul.
Thank you Caroline for producing a quality Pod detailing a difficult but important subject.

Every pet owner across the country can make a difference.
We have to do better for our Vets and industry personnel ❤... more
As a vet no longer working in clinic this podcast resonated in ways I thought it would and more. Excellent structure, content and pacing help paint a thorough and clearer picture for the public the day to day struggles vet teams face. I’ll be recommending this to my friends and family and beyond.
No more needs to be said than a big heartfelt THANKYOU, Caroline.
