As the mother of a Vet , I can definitely relate to the issues raised in this podcast . My Daughter has been a Vet for 2 1/2 years and has experienced many of the problems mentioned. She made a decision to leave clinical practice because of this . A decision she would rather have not made had she been treated well , respected and payed a wage she is worth . I worry about her mental health . She is a competent , focused caring woman who like so many others has had to leave the work they love .

Vets are in crisis. The topic is not well understood to most pet owners and the general public.
My hope is that by listening, people gain an understanding of the complex chain of circumstances that link the Vet Industry’s crisis and an idea of practical things they can do to assist.
Every pet owner across the country can make a difference.
