I listened to 2 eps of The Selects. The 1st was really good! The 2nd, Concerning Breakfast really needs trigger warnings. It's about eating disorders and has explicit descriptions of anorexic behaviours and body types. But weirdly, it's not just that that didn't include a trigger warning. They actually went out of their way to make it a "surprise" topic. You can't just spring things like that on people. You need to give them the option to consent to the topic, or to protect their mental health.
I love love love this idea! I can’t tell you how often I’m perusing my podcast feed or typing into my search bar looking for audio pieces like these. This is just priceless and so satisfying.
Always look forward to hearing what Selects has dug up!
