Awesome local content but also focuses on things anyone considering starting up a podcast might need to know. Very informative.
Edmonton, Alberta seems to have an inordinate amount of podcasters for a city its size. It must have something to do with the weather. In any case, someone has to keep an eye on them, and Karen Unland is definitely up to the task. SEEN AND HEARD IN EDMONTON is a great resource for podcasters and listeners in the Festival City, and I have learned so much by listening.
This podcast is for people who take their podcasts seriously! Karen dives into how Edmonton-based podcasted and bloggers start their projects, and more importantly, how they keep them going. There are so many interesting tidbits for anyone who is interested in podcasting.
Karen's tireless work promoting creatives in Edmonton is second to none in the city. Her show is a must if you want to keep up with everything happening in the big city up north.
I recently listened to episode 80 where host Karen Unland talked with Dan Shessel about his own podcast, The Northern Nerdcast. Karen has a style which consists of asking tightly focused questions and then gives the guest ample time to answer. Yet she retains a very natural, conversational style. I love it! Well worth adding to your podcast rotation at your earliest opportunity.
