I was recommended this podcast and was not disappointed. Every episode is basically a well written thesis on the dish spoken out loud by a great host who’s voice is perfect. He doesn’t rush through his episodes or cram them with ads just to pad for time. Great show. I really can’t recommend the show enough. I’ve been listening to the show almost from the start. The past two years having it to listen to has gotten me through some crazy long wait times at the doctors.
I love this show. It’s fascinating and also familiar with the talk of Christmas, the Christmas music, and the history of beloved (or not so beloved) holiday dishes is enjoyable.
Glen always puts together a great show. I always look forward to his latest episode.
What is amazing to me is how much you can learn about Christmas customs and traditions from talking about food. It is much more interesting than you might first believe. Glenn always makes the discussion and the subject matter so appetizing. You can't help but come away hungry. I may not cook, but I definitely like to eat, so you don't need to be a chef to savor this podcast!
Seriously, if you can listen to this podcast and not walk away hungry..........well, then you may just not be human! Glen has one of the best voices in the podcast world, and hearing him talk about the best holiday foods and treats makes me hungry!
