  • Listen to Saving Throw!

I’ve been a fan and follower of Save Data Team for awhile now, so it’s criminal how long it took me to get around to checking out their actual play show. I’ve finally caught up, and I loved it! Chris is a fantastic storyteller, world-builder, and GM. The whole group has great chemistry and camaraderie, making the listening experience both compelling and fun. I’m so excited to learn where this story is going. Highly recommended!

  • Why does this not have all the listens

This show slaps harder than Chiron with that horse. Saving Throw is easily my favorite DnD podcast. The dm has created an expertly crafted and well written world full of lively, rich, and lovable characters. The players have put so much thought and effort into their characters and into the roleplay, and it really shows, making the story all the more compelling and engaging. Both hilarious and heartbreaking, Saving Throw is truly one of a kind. Thank you to the creators for such an amazing show!

extremely entertaining dm, incredibly well thought out worldbuilding, and a fantastically entertaining cast of players to tie it all together. the main cast balances each other out beautifully and make for plenty of magical misadventures not to be missed. also the first and only podcast to have chiron hemlock in it. 1000/10

  • Saving throw!!!

Saving Throw is super fun and has an amazing cast of entertaining characters! It’s really nice to see the world and the characters grow, and the lore is intriguing and has me theorizing at any clue! This show has also genuinely inspired me so much. it has given me the courage to; get a Discord account, share my art online, and share my interests with my friends, all things a younger me would have been terrified to do. So I wanted to say, to Chris, Zak, Prij, Elise, David, and Jason, Thank you al... more

  • Absolutely 10/10 horray

I am really not good at listening to podcasts. I find them increadibly artificial and empty. But somehow, the fellas at SaveDataTeam HQ made a podcast even an ADHD-ridden fool such as myself can enjoy. Plenty of jokes balanced with drama and all in all just a great time. Dude, they have the D!cktomancer, what else could you want in a DnD podcast?

  • Watch (Listen to) Saving Throw

I’ve been following Saving Throw since it’s first episode and it’s very good and enjoyable. A lovable jaunt by very cool people with some cool but sometimes cringe characters. One day it will be projected on all walls of the MoMA. Love this show <3

  • Creative and hilarious all at once!

I've been following Save Data Team's work for years, and their history of high quality LPs and hijinks have culminated in this fantastic story. Chris is an entertaining and engaging DM, and leads the five players through a hilarious adventure with memorable characters. While many of the jokes are made better through knowing the group's other series, this is still an easily accessible story, and a great gateway to check out the rest of their work. I'd say the only caveat is that the content can b... more

  • You’ll laugh, maybe cry, might die a little inside.

I don’t know much about DnD or improve, but this group of 6 makes it look so fun and easy! Each of the 5 players has a interesting and unique character that interacts with the wonderfully crafted world in a humorous manner. Except for Alistair, people might mistake you for the Avatar after listening to some of his interactions. They do a good job of bringing up mechanics as needed without overwhelming the audience to the point that they need a Bachelor’s in Tabletop RPGs.
