Love listening to the hosts banter and learning more about the jazz world my dad loves so much. The jokes make me laugh out loud and always catch me off guard. I recommend this podcast to all my friends who are interested in jazz, music, and podcasts!

  • Great Podcast!

This is the perfect podcast to listen to while cooking your Sunday dinner. Or while winding down in the evening. It’s so accessible. The pace is a perfect balance of song clips and banter. The hosts have obvious chemistry and strong knowledge of the subject. I discovered it a few weeks ago and have been binging it ever since. I didn’t even know I liked jazz!

  • A fun way to learn about jazz

What a great concept----exploring different versions of one jazz standard. I like the fact that the two hosts don't pretend to be 'experts'----and they give fascinating information not just about the 'standard' they play, but the artists who are interpreting it. I do yearn, however, for complete versions of at least some of those recordings.
