Another waste of time! Don’t think that by mentioning the word “technology” in the description makes this a tech podcast. Once again these two are waffle on about trans and women’s social problems. They should be more concerned about their “podcast” sticking to the topic!!! This isn’t a therapy session!
Can we do a podcast that actually matches the topic for once? This isn’t a therapy session!
I was after something a bit more substantive than this, which seemed to be just passing opinions and drifted off into areas nothing to do with the podcast title. In the latest episode I listened to before I switched off, one host asked the other "what is the metaverse" whilst discussing FB and the switch to meta and the answer was "well, err, sorry, I haven’t actually done any research this week as my head wasn’t in the right place" and rambled on for another 2 or 3 minutes about nothing. I started tuning in after meeting Alex Cox at C2E2. I am not a tech person so I wrongly assumed this show wouldn't hold much interest, but was curious enough to try it out. That was over a year ago and I'm still a regular listener. Turns out I'm way more interested in robots than I thought :)
Roboism is a ton of fun. The hosts are great! One of the things I love about the show is that it's clear this is a topic they're both fascinated by, but they have very different takes on. That always makes for an interesting discussion. I was bummed out to see that the top review on ituens at present says that says this show and its hosts are sexist. Man, what? It's just two awesome ladies talking about robots. Check a mirror sometime.

Notable strengths include two engaging hosts who offer distinct perspectives, a willingness to tackle both lighthearted and serious topics, and commentary that balances tech optimism with critical reflection on data, IP, and automation's impact on workers and communities.
