A great source of tech info and things that directly affect tech in our lives. Diverse and open conversation is important and very much valued. Appreciate the range of hosts and guest and now hiding opinion to those that wish to censor and edit the world only to their narrow view.
Thanks to its two hosts, Myke Hurley and Jason Snell, this is podcast (Upgrade) has now degenerated into a wokefest of anti-American and anti-Trump rants and tirades, especially from the extremely smug and, ironically, non-American Hurley (British native and resident). If you’re looking for an escape from political subject matter and discourse, no matter which side of the aisle you sit on, AVOID this podcast altogether! I come here to listen about Apple news, and I really really wish that we could stop talking about political stuff that does not directly affect the tech development or price stuff like that. There is a reason most people do not watch the news. It is to avoid hearing all this stuff about how somebody feels about something that is opposite of their view. I’ve listened to Upgrade since it started, it used to be a must-listen every week. Over the past year they have gotten very negative unfortunately. It’s hard to listen to, and has dropped on my priorities. I would recommend other tech podcasts instead.
