  • The Only Podcast for D.C. United MLS Fans

D.C. United is NOT an easy team to be a fan of (the ups, the downs, the bizarre coaching hires), but the boys at RFK Refugees will help you laugh, cry, and explain everything the team throws at you. It’s a seriously thoughtful listen - they’ve got a great handle on roster rules, tactics, and the league’s history - without devolving into either blind “homerism” or negativity. Give them a spin!

  • No green sauce please

Other than Jon’s weird culinary perversions, the show is the best source of the latest news and thoughts on DC United. I don’t always agree with their opinions but they always have good reasoning behind their thoughts. I suggest joining their patreon to support DC United news and their carnitas burrito habit. You will get extra shows and a sticker! Vamos United!

It's possible that Peltel does not want to return due to his current dissatisfaction with where the team is headed.
Somehow, RFK Refugees Returned
Q: What players would you keep for next season?
Jacob mentions Baraz, Schnegg, Herrera, Peglo, and a few others, while expressing the sentiment that he wouldn't mind if they got rid of most players due to their performances.
Drawing Up a Game Plan
Q: Do you think it was warranted eight yellow cards for the referee quick with the cards?
DC is playing a pressing style, and when you play physical, you're going to commit more fouls.
Drawing Up a Game Plan
Q: Given the small sample size record, undefeated, but three draws against subpar teams, what are your current odds for DC making the playoffs?
I would say 35%.
Troy's Tactical Troubles
Q: Do you think this roster is underperforming? By a lot, by a lot?
Yes, it seems the roster is significantly underperforming, not just slightly.
