  • Smarter and savvy

I’ve followed Matt Doyle’s writing for a long time and am happy to have found him and this crew of commentators. The perspective as well as the approach is so much more realistic and analytical on the realities of the game in the US and the world but well beyond the surface level perception that you see everywhere else.

  • “Soccer is for ALL”

I respect their soccer takes from time to time but for a show that always promotes “soccer being for everyone” they always choose to alienate a group of listeners that don’t think politically the same way they do whenever that topic comes into conversation. Not saying they can’t share their opinion but how about having someone on who challenges their thinking with an opposite POV when politics gets involved with soccer instead of just living with their buddies in an echo chamber. • Stay above the yelling!

This show is my go to for all things MLS and has been a fantastic daily listen during the World Cup. Generally great dialogue between the hosts without devolving into talk radio type sound bites.

However, on the June 30 show it was really tough to listen to as the three hosts were yelling over each other, mostly about Japan. Please don’t become WFAN!!!
