Honestly I wasn’t always an LD fan. Loved what he did for us but thought he was offputting. But having spent time listening to him on US, I think he has some of the very best takes of any commentator today. He is brutally honest but he is honest. I love his perspectives. Timmy is great too but I really enjoy hearing LD the most. They are a great duo. Every USMNT fan should subscribe to this pod.
My two favorite soccer stars representing the US for the last - jeez, two decades. This has nothing to do with the podcast - the one thing I don’t understand is that soccer isn’t more popular in the US. It’s cheaper than all other sports - it’s a ball and grass. But then there’s the money question. Off the soapbox.
Ok so we love the podcast but have a huge issue with the AUDIO engineering. Guys please listen back to your own show. Is it reverb? Not sure honestly, all I know is its annoying. It feel too low and too loud at the same time??
As a podcaster myself I have always thought podcasts were the place where people who really love the subject can go and find great info and talk. And that’s what this is. There’s no BS, no hot takes, no clickbait nonsense. I’m so glad I found this show.

Two former USMNT icons riff about soccer culture, tactics, and global happenings with a casual, veteran's eye. The show blends on-pitch analysis, World Cup storytelling, and broadcasting insights, often featuring high-profile guests and cross-sport parallels. A weekend-warrior vibe with fan Q&As and sponsor interludes makes it accessible for general listeners while still delivering candid, expert commentary on MLS, European soccer, and the US national team as the 2026 World Cup approaches. Noteworthy elements include the hosts' long-standing chemistry, unvarnished opinions, and a steady stream of sponsor reads that anchor brand partnerships without diluting the conversation.
