  • PLEASE stop doing this

The 1-2 minute long intro music is so incredibly irritating and pointless; it sounds like the elevator music telecom companies make you listen to when they put you on hold.

Please, please just stop adding music. You don't need an intro longer than 10 seconds.

  • Wrong

I enjoyed the latest episode but the former judge was incorrect about the racist slavery component of the USA. Initially Africans were not considered inferior. In fact the first slave owner in the USA was an African. It wasn’t until well after the USA became established that African racism began. And…there were always opponents to the racist ideas regarding slavery. The majority of the USA was not in favor of slavery and were not racist. Read, “Not Stolen”, by Jeff Fynn-Paul. Canada is Screwing Up Its Economy, What's the Fix
Q: Do you think tax policy alone can put Canada in a competitive position against the U.S.?
Tax reform can be a core lever, especially personal and corporate rate reductions, but it must be paired with predictable regulation and investment-friendly infrastructure policies to be truly effective.
Canada is Screwing Up Its Economy, What's the Fix
Q: What lessons can we draw from history about getting government out of the way to spur growth?
Historical episodes (UK under Thatcher, China's reforms) show growth accelerates when government reduces drag and allows market-driven investment and entrepreneurship to lead.
Canada is Screwing Up Its Economy, What's the Fix
Q: Are you surprised by our shrinking economy, given recent stats on unemployment, inflation, and exports?
Yes, the economy looks structurally weak with stagnant per-capita GDP; policy needs to move from incremental tweaks to big reforms, including tax reform and reducing regulatory drag.
The Cartels Are in Canada, and No One Is Talking About It
Q: What practical steps should Canada take to strengthen security?
Enhance enforcement, strengthen intelligence-sharing with the United States and allies, improve port and border controls, and increase public awareness about security risks and policy actions; address corruption and money laundering more effectively.
The Cartels Are in Canada, and No One Is Talking About It
Q: What is the Kingpin Fallacy and why does it matter when addressing cartel leadership?
The Kingpin Fallacy argues that eliminating leaders disrupts but does not end cartel operations since leadership and operational networks are designed for continuity; thus, strategy must address succession planning and broader organizational structure, not just individual leaders.
