He’s been here for years. I was clean for years and fell off the wagon once again with a mythical roof pervs episode. Love me some Weekly Scrap, The Standard, Crew First, etc. but, Refined By Fire hits on a different level. Deeper conversations on topics with a more raw recordings to make you feel like you are in the room and not attending a zoom lecture. There’s got to be something in the water over there in Eagle. Much love from Oregon.

Stephen Tyler is eloquent and intellectual as the host. He seems to always get the most out of his guests, asks some unexpected questions and gets down to the heart of the matter. This is the best fire service podcast, even if it is sporadic in its episodic delivery. Each episode is worth a listen, many are worth a re-listen.

Great pod cast, I’ve listened to everyone of these more than once.
They’ve just stopped though. Does anyone know why, what’s up?
This is, by far, the best fire service podcast available. Each episode is thoughtfully produced and hand-crafted. It is not a mass-market podcast but rather captures the soul of the modern American fire service.
