This used to be an absolute favourite of mine, but Merlin is just ruining it at this point. Most episodes I find myself enraged because I want to enjoy what I KNOW would be a great show, but Merlin just won’t shut the hell up. Constant interruptions, constant useless chatter that’s irrelevant to anything happening. This show has so much cognitive overhead to sift through it’s just not enjoyable anymore.
OMG Merlin, let John finish his sentences!!!!
… but not only. This show is quite enjoyable if you have listened to John’s podcasts over the years. Merlin is the perfect partner for John in this podcast. If you don’t know either of them you might be a bit confused about the inside jokes/bits.
