  • Wonderful - the best ever, stories, discussions

I love this podcast. The format is: Introduction of author and story background, discussion, Reading of the Story or parts of it and more discussion. Entertaining and informative with a short format.

  • Fantastical

I discovered this podcast after listening to Eric Rabkin’s “Masterpieces of the imaginative mind”. Eric and Jesse elevate the reading of these wonderful stories through a deep dive into symbolism and historical meaning. Thank you for uncovering the stories I hadn’t found yet.

  • Brilliant

Eric Rabkin was an amazing professor at the University of Michigan, and Jesse is the perfect compliment! They both have a keen grasp of the language and symbolism, and there is always and engaging discussion...even and especially when they disagree! I subscribe to a few podcasts, but this is the only one I make sure to listen to in great detail! I highly recommend reading the pdf before listening. A true master class in understanding literature!
