Sid is calling out Jack Tunney for being BOGUS and Hulk is doing Hulk things. Rick Rude and Steve Austin team up and the Rapmaster drops and insane diss track. Tune in for more.
We jump back a few weeks on the timeline to check in with NWO Souled Out thanks to the WCW Youtube channel's recent upload. Ever seen someone in every match on a PPV? How about a ring announcer from the back over the PA? Faces with no music? These id... more
Thursday Raw Thursday vs Nitro Monday Nitro. Let's get it on like Marbvin Gaye.
Piper and Hogan wind back the clock. Bret and Shawn get confrontational and DDP and Stone Cold continue up the card. Check out the 1st 2 hour head to head and enjoy.
Jan 1997 comes to a close with the final pair of shows and we march towards the Final 4 and a Roddy Piper/Hulk Hogan rematch. A referee gets fired, Kevin Sullivan is too sexy for the women to resist and Owen Hart wears a green tracksuit. What's not t... more

Richie and I take on Thunder from down under and enjoy the first Australian based show on our little journey. A million segments, a stolen gimmick match and naughty Hacksaw all make appearances.
Survivor Series 1993, full of surprises some good, others not so great. A fun ppv look back to a simpler time. Enjoy.
Lee is always bringing the energy and keeping the nostalgia high! Love hearing the perspective from a fan all the way on the other side of the world too! Give this show a shot and you won’t regret it!
I’ve gone down a rabbit hold of wrestling nostalgia podcasts and found this one via Positively Pro Wrestling and I’ve been on a binge (mostly sticking with the head to head Raw v Nitros and the related PPV fare) I have been enjoying it quite a bit despite some technical glitches in audio quality in early episodes. Love the wit, insight and especially the nostalgic merch bits/personal touches as of late. I’m almost caught up and I see there’s fewer and fewer head to heads so I’m getting worried! ... more
This is outstanding just like jinders reign as our wwe champion
Brilliant podcast, informative, funny and clever. Especially enjoy the Karl Grice episodes.
Keep up the good work
Great podcast Lee Carlos Cunningham knows his stuff
The concept of the podcast had me hopeful, head to head comparisons of WWF/E and NWA/JCP/WCW events. After listening to the first episode I was disappointed and looking for a change. I've got no problem with "marks", but "smarks" are really annoying. I'll keep listening to the next few episodes as long as the condescending host becomes more objective and less hyperbolic.
Enjoying the podcast. Good stuff from our contemporaries from down under. Hopefully Nitro can keep up their good form into the 2000s. Surely nothing can halt their momentum.
Definitely Check it out
This podcast is always a very informative and entertaining listen with a great format. Comparing & contrasting shows going head to head always ensures a wide range of takes and stories and makes you pine for genuine competition in wrestling again. Go check it out.
After a shaky start Lee Carlos Cunningham has finally found his stride in the wrestling podcast world, the man should be applauded for watching 1995 WCW alone, keep up the good work ya big galah (sp)
Love the podcast can't wait for the next episode, I know how hard it is to do alone
Great podcast, very informative about where each company was up to in the 80s and 90s. Really enjoyed episode 3 and I really like the idea of reviewing PPVs head to head.
Sure did treat me well. What a guy!
Listen now!
It's been a joy being his mother. He's a lovely boy.
