    Dope show!

They find very talented, relevant artists who are putting out some of the most substantial work of our time. The host is easy to listen to and asks compelling questions. He and his guests have shredded the pretentiousness that so often makes “the art world” inaccessible to regular folks. Dear elitists, come down to the streets and learn something, the art lives in the people. Juxta makes this abundantly clear.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

UR-02: Shepard Fairey on Creating Modular Frequencies
Q: How do you feel about artificial intelligence in the intersection of art and design education?
I see AI as a mixed tool: it can speed up references and iteration, but it risks making outcomes lazy if used without a clear, personal artistic voice. The key is to use AI to serve your vision, not replace it, and to teach students to push beyond good-enough results.
164: Shyama Golden
Q: How does the use of AI technology fit into your artistic process?
It opens up new possibilities in animation that I couldn't achieve through traditional methods, allowing me to explore narratives more freely.
163: Corita Kent's Legacy with Nellie Scott
Q: What is Corita Kent's legacy?
Corita Kent’s legacy involves her role as an artist, educator, and social justice advocate, leaving behind a significant collection of artworks and a community-focused approach to art.
163: Corita Kent's Legacy with Nellie Scott
Q: What is the Corita Kent Center?
The Corita Kent Center is dedicated to preserving and promoting Corita Kent's art and her messages of love, hope, and justice.
160: David Altmejd
Q: What do you think about the relationship with the viewer and your work?
I think I don't see the viewer as another; I see them as similar to me, drawn to mystery and surprises.
