  • KAWS

KAWS interview - KAWS has got to be the most insipid maker of stuff that is most definitely not art - but extremely mediocre design . As one eminent voice in art criticism said it’s ‘art’ for people who don’t like art.

Such mediocre producers of ‘stuff’ often cite Warhol as an inspiration - it goes without saying, such an uncritical maker aside from the obvious business angle hasn’t the faintest idea of what Warhol was about

  • Do the Research

If you’re planning to interview a podcast guest, it might be a good idea to ask Chat GPT for a bio beforehand. It takes 2 minutes. Russell’s question to Alison Goldfrapp of, “Who’s Will Gregory?” was embarrassing, but Alison handled it like a pro. And then, “Who’s Tricky?” Do better!

Hello. I really like Russel and Robert but I do wish they could be a bit less laughy/jokey ( which can be a bit annoying ) and have a more serious interview technique ( absolutely adore ‘a brush with’ for example ) but otherwise , I still really appreciate it and enjoy the more in depth discussions… More please 🙏

  • Talk Art

Talk Art is the first podcast I have listened to in a very long time. Four programs so far. Already, I am deeply appreciative of the content and presentation. I like the way guests are permitted to discuss their subject in an uninterrupted way. Also, when questions are asked, they so often derive from the guests previous comments, in a natural way. This intuitive style makes the listening so enjoyable and informative. Many thanks.
