The content and style of the show is excellent, but the way in which the artists are introduced with the name being said in tandem makes my skin crawl with second-hand embarrassment. It feels patronising. Thank you for making an otherwise enjoyable show.
I liked this podcast in the beginning, but I can’t support a platform that picks and chooses when to speak up. During BLM they were very vocal, but it seems they’re staying silent on Gaza to protect their sponsors aka their bosses who own the gallery Robert works for, or people around them who are pro-Israel, and I think the same goes for their friends, like Tracey Emin. So yeah had to come back and change my stars. Sorry not sorry.
Love the show boys .
Great interviews with great artists .
Especially enjoyed Sean Scully and Joe Bradley.
Keep up the great work!
Inspiring. From a somewhat hermit painter(me) I am learning so much about what other artists are ; doing, thinking and the spaces that welcome and promote the beautiful weirdos called artists, thank you for this! Meeradreamart.com
I’ve listened to one episode (Noel Fielding- he’s so great!), and it was rough to get through! Robert routinely interrupted and spoke over Noel, the guest, who was attempting to answer a question. It was so difficult to listen to due to this annoying habit. I understand the idea of being excited about a guest, but the frequency of interruptions and Noel’s inability to answer made it very unprofessional.
