When I listen to a podcast, I like to feel as if I could be having a conversation with the hosts. John and Josiah do a great job of creating that atmosphere. I wanted to chime in and found myself nodding in agreement to their comments and responding to things I missed in the film. I listened to their review of Joker today and it was spot on! They each have specific things they seem to be looking for in a film so that provides a nice counterbalance and exchange of ideas and opinions. I feel like ... more

Nice balance of technical, experience and literary review. Felt like you where both in my kitchen helping us cook dinner while we talked. One concern... where are your wives while you sit in the car after the movie? I picture them outside waiting, annoyed and gesticulating.
This podcast is so well done. I loved hearing the different perspectives and ideas about the film from something other than a plot review. How the movie is made and how the storyline is highlighted by lighting, sound, camera work, is so intriguing and give me a whole new perspective on the movie. I cannot wait for the next episode!
Loved hearing the different perspectives of the two hosts. Very interesting podcast that deconstructs movies in a fun and engaging way!
