  • Liked the old intro/outro

Just wanted to express my appreciation for the podcast as a cofchrist member. One gentle critique…I sort of miss the piano music. The guitar is fine but feels almost like a meme of a podcast like this

Q: What would be the most important thing for somebody to know about this resolution?
It does not delegitimize Israel; it supports a future for both Israel and Palestine, emphasizes peace over conflict, and draws on the church's history of opposing Islamophobia and anti-Semitism while advocating for a just, comprehensive peace in the Middle East.

Q: Could you summarize this resolution for us?
The resolution clarifies what Zion means for Community of Christ, rejects end-times Christian Zionism, rejects ethnic chauvinism in the Holy Land, and reaffirm the universal worth of all people, guiding readers away from a warlike interpretation toward a peaceful, inclusive vision.
967 | What's Brewing | Partnering for Outreach
Q: What would you tell other congregations considering a similar partnership?
Start with a strong partner, engage your church as a team, and remember that the goal is mutual blessing and sustainable ministry, not simply a one-off event.
967 | What's Brewing | Partnering for Outreach
Q: What did you learn during this experience?
The key lesson is to partner with a worthwhile local organization rather than trying to reinvent the wheel, which amplifies impact and aligns ministry with real community needs.

Q: am I a rules person or a grace person?
Blake describes his journey from a rules-oriented upbringing toward embracing grace, acknowledging how his past as a youth minister involved strict rules and how that perspective shifted toward grace in his current outlook.
