In your November 27 episode, you mention not being able to do a full class Guess Who game. I have actually seen a full class Guess Who game using the class itself as the game board. Students break into two « teams » and one person from each team is « the person ». Students take turns asking the opposite team questions to eliminate class members (who sit down when eliminated). I can’t tell you how much this podcast has meant to me these past few days as I’ve been preparing for year 25 and trying to switch to more CI. I don’t have all of theirs figured out yet, and with COVID, her affirmations of realizing we are human and worth taking care of brought me so much comfort. Her realistic approach and conversations with others inspire me that this “old dog” will maybe catch up to the hotshots of CI and grow and improve my practice.
