The National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC has a lot to see. Tucked among the aircraft there is a display case with a lion. That lion is Gilmore. Gilmore, the flying lion (o león volador) flew more than 25,000 miles, including trips that brok... more

Really happy to have this learning aid. I see others have written about her accent but I personally think it’s still a very good source of learning. In fact I can clearly understand her pronunciation maybe even better than a native speaker so I’m learning more vocabulary. Either way, her show is great and just at the right level for this beginner!
I love this podcast, it’s easy to learn new vocabulary and grammar as a novice Spanish speaker. I don’t have any issues with her accent - she’s not a native speaker of course but actually it makes it easier for me to understand. I think listening to both native speakers and non native speakers can be helpful for language acquisition. And anyway, we should never shame anyone for their accent or mistakes when they’re trying something hard, like speaking another language :)
Unfortunate that there is not a native speaker of Spanish on this podcast. The accent is counter productive when there are so many excellent podcasts for new Spanish learners by native speakers with authentic native accents for beginners and intermediates. I can’t continue listening.
While I admire the effort to provide stories in Spanish, the narrator has a terrible gringa accent not suitable for speaking and teaching Spanish. She would be more helpful to provide similar stories in English to English learners. For real stories in Spanish by a clear native speaker, I found Intermediate Spanish Stories (InterSpanish). No me gusto esta narración, lo siento.
Absolutely love this podcast, finally found a Spanish easy listening SLOW stories for beginners/intermediate listeners.
