Two Russian agents release a miniature nuclear weapon in a 5-star London hotel. But former KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko is not the only victim?
From Sky News StoryCast.
It’s probably interesting but you have to tell a story! And repeating again and again that the story is about to start is just boring. All the flashbacks right at the beginning is bad story telling.
Well organized and easy to listen to story while driving. Looking forward to more.
This is an incredible investigation, uncovering all that happened behind the tragic murder of Litvinenko. The story is told with witnesses & agents themselves revealing so much about this harrowing event. It is beautifully made & presented. It seems other reviewers here don’t like the truth being revealed, which is very odd. Try it, by episode three you’ll be hooked.
Boring, boring, boring! The female narrator is terrible, not worth even one star.
Not learnt anything new about the important events only about the piano player. This is OK but has wetted their appetite.
Like a 2min news segment stretched out over multiple eps... Far too much voiceover, written with lots of news-style cliches. I’m sure the makers intended to make it dramatic but this actually makes it hard to follow the thread of the story. Which is a shame, because it has some stylish elements. Good effort, but doesn’t work.
I was looking forward to this, as I was expecting a podcast about a Russian diplomatic crisis. What I heard was a boring story about a not terribly appealing Piano player who liked to drone on about how many pop stars he knew. Pointless.
Great listen and fascinating topic
Compelling story, well told & beautifully produced. Can’t wait to hear more...
