Every Lovecraft story will be covered over two episodes each. First, Tod will read the story with minimal production, and ideal for people who just want to hear Lovecraft's words. This is the horror part. Following each story is... more

Was all in till they go on a rant of Lovecraft's racism. I mean I get it mention once if you want but don't go on a rant about how it's the fans of his works duty to something about it, I read lovecraft because his style of writing and the horror he creates draws me in, I don't need to be reminded constantly he was racist. And then they talk about wanting people who are more acceptable to talk more onhis racism to be on their podcast so they can talk about it more....thought it was a Lcraft pod... more
I love the format, it’s you thinking about the story then what others came away with. They are entertaining folk to boot.
…or late night, or morning, or afternoon, for that matter.. Look, I’m sure these are well-meaning people, but I’ll never get back that hour of my life that I spent in the audience of their Necronomicon Providence recording. About as enjoyable as preparing for a colonoscopy.
This podcast is great! I was introduced to Lovecraft as a young lad by way of Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu role playing game, so the discussions and jokes about Lovecraft and his influences are news to me, 100 years late. Love it!
The hosts are likeable and their banter and references are enjoyable. Lovecraft and his stories are interesting and the material is well handled by the pair. You get both full readings and full reviews of the tales and they are great at picking out the worthwhile background stuff to discuss. Well worth checking out.
