I read the first eight books in short succession and was absolutely amazed by the story. This podcast was exactly the thing I needed to revisit this incredible saga. Funny and insightful, I just can’t get enough.
Nice approach with a newbie Duner teaming up with someone doing a re-read for the first time.
Elaine s very thorough and keeps great notes, so she has a great grasp after her first reading.
She finds even Frank’s stuff more confusingly built than I do but she makes a great case, even causing ne to re-think the pedestal on which I put Frank. A bit.
But now entering the so-called “sequels” byBrian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, they seem to be having sone of the same issues I have with those.

Enjoy the subject matter, like the hosts. Too much play by play, too little analysis/opinion. Also constantly mispronounce names/terms, can get a little annoying.
A perfect companion to reading the book.
