    I started my plant-based journey back in college, and over the years, I’ve gone in and out of the lifestyle. In 2023, I committed to being fully plant-based for a year. I lost weight, my cholesterol went back to normal, and overall, I felt great! But my anemia got so bad that I eventually needed a blood transfusion. Out of fear, I went back to eating meat.
