Andrew and Rachel seem lovely but I find this Pod a bit weird. Is Andrew a teacher? Cause he tells the stories like he’s reading a fairy tale to children, it’s very sing songy and like he’s telling a fun tale rather than relaying a horrible murder. The way he ask Rachel “what do you think about this / that?” it sounds so condescending like she’s a toddler. I also don’t get the “close your eyes and imagine” part. Like I get what the concept is supposed to be but often the things he tells you to... more
I was commenting along to the latest episode about, Theodore Johnson, so much that I was compelled to come write a review. Andrew’s voice is deep and warm…..it took some time to train my ears but now I’m a pro! I love the authentic banter. Tangents, rabbit holes, side discussions, mispronunciations, I say leave it all in! I appreciate you both for doing a great podcast. Wishing you both the best and continued success. more
