I absolutely love this podcast I found it through Adam and I’ve been listening to the back catalogue - I love how Stuart tells the story and is very very respectful to victims - I also love the way we get introduced to the place it happened - I’m a Patreon member and it’s well worth it it’s one of my favourite pods!
This thoroughly British Crime podcast is just fantastic. Finally one gets to hear about some not so famous cases. All of them very well told, with empathy for the victims and also some kind humour. Highly recommended for all true crime buffs.
I really want to enjoy this podcast, but I can’t get past the host’s constant focus on cracking jokes instead of truly engaging with the subject matter. The repeated wisecracks feel out of place, especially for a True Crime podcast, where the stories deserve more respect and depth. It often comes off as dismissive to the seriousness of the cases being discussed.
