I really enjoy this podcast and I enjoy the ‘extra mile’. After listening to the podcast the extra mile really does feel like a conversation and I often find myself talking back to him! Always excellent research into the story, definitely worth a listen if you’re interested in true crime.
The content is great for the first 30 mins- the waffle, slurping, burping and waffling is unnecessary- can’t listen. Makes me not want to reach for the main content
I love this podcast. The research is good and the content is very well and entertainingly delivered. Just one negative comment to make though.. the waffle between stories by the host is quite difficult to enjoy. Perhaps a few notes to keep the host on track would be helpful. Sorry, I’ve no idea what your name is as you never introduce yourself. A great listen though.. thanks
Thank you sooo much for your heartfelt commentary. Your story telling is awesome. Love the disclosure when information that was reported but cannot really be verified or is truly suspect. A meticulous true crime narrative focused on largely under-reported London-area cases, with a strong emphasis on social context, archival detail, and methodical reconstruction. Episodes frequently blend courtroom testimony, press coverage, and firsthand recollections to unpack motive, alibis, and investigative challenges across decades, often tying personal stories to broader historical themes. The host's careful storytelling, willingness to challenge sensationalism, and multipart deep dives—sometimes with collaborators—make it a standout for listeners who crave thoroughly researched narratives and a sense of place, especially around West London and Soho. A notable strength is the long-form, walk-through style that treats each case as a lay... more
