These small snippets of interesting stories make for an eventful ride home from work. I wish Marlin had not discontinued making episodes this summer, I miss learning about the odd past in PA.
Grew up in Philly, moved to Fl for 26 years and am back to PA now and love these stories! Well told, good voice, interesting stuff!
My wife and I enjoy listening to these podcasts while driving. The stories are always interesting and well-researched. As lifelong residents of PA, the locations are familiar so itās fascinating to learn of these stories, many of which took place not far from where we live.
Wow, some lazy plagiarism here (these podcasters should look up the word in case they have never heard of the concept), at least change some of the words in the sentences youāve lifted in entirety from other sources, geez.
Iām enjoying this podcast. The pacing is good, the narration clear with sound effects that add atmosphere to the stories. The length is just right for listening when Iām running local errands.

A regional true-crime and history podcast that blends archival research with atmospheric narration to recount Pennsylvania's odd and often dark past. Episodes cover infamous cases, unsolved mysteries, and eerie local lore, all anchored by a single narrator whose persona as a āhistorian of the macabreā adds a distinctive, storytelling-driven angle. Notable strengths include meticulous detail, strong sense of place, and occasional cross-promotion or sponsor moments that interrupt the narrative, which may appeal to listeners who enjoy immersive, locally grounded history and crime storytelling.
