  • lame

interesting that the most recent review is over a year old, and the rest are 2-4 years okd. i can only assume someone in charge of the show is removing the more-recent reviews and they're doing so because these reviews are critical of the tone deaf leftist garbage this show espouses.

  • Encourages naive views of Israel Occupation

The guest was allowed to drone on with zero ability to understand why 10/7 happened from a resistance pov and why it involved violence. It wasn’t a time to play nice. Doesn’t seem to have any clue about the last 75 years. Arrogant and unlistenable while also performing heroics of feeling enlightened.

Liberal Zionism is just as bad as right wing Netanyahu Likud party Zionism. Listen to Norman Finkelstein, Jewish Voice for Peace, Not in My Name.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Iran's Strategic Thinking: A View from Inside Iran w/ Peiman Salehi
Q: Looking ahead, what do you think American policymakers are most likely to misunderstand about this shift in Iranian thinking?
The biggest misunderstanding is the ongoing tendency to separate nuclear issues from regional security concerns; many Iranian policymakers see these elements as interconnected within a broader regional order.
Iran's Strategic Thinking: A View from Inside Iran w/ Peiman Salehi
Q: Could you give some background on Mohsen Rezaei and why his statements matter for understanding Iranian strategic thinking?
Rezaei is a widely recognized figure in Iran's security and strategic circles; his experience as IRGC commander and current role as a senior advisor shape how policymakers frame Lebanon, Hezbollah, and regional security as interconnected with Washington negotiations.
The Dangerous Stealth Move by Congress to Integrate U.S. and Israeli Militaries w/ Benjamin Freeman
Q: What are the practical risks if this provision passes, and how might it affect US national security and policy autonomy?
The main risks include a significant entrenchment of Israel in US defense programs, data fusion that could constrain US decision-making, and a future where disentangling relationships in crisis becomes extremely costly, possibly compromising national security and broad policy choices.
The Dangerous Stealth Move by Congress to Integrate U.S. and Israeli Militaries w/ Benjamin Freeman
Q: What exactly is Section 224 and how would it change the current model of US-Israel military cooperation?
Freeman explains that Section 224 would formalize deep military integration across multiple domains, shifting away from the current foreign military financing and memorandums of understanding toward a Pentagon-driven framework with less congressional oversight, potentially making data sharing more extensive and harder to unwind.
Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, U.S.-Israel Military Fusion, Unhinged Propaganda, & More w/ Mouin Rabbani
Q: How did we get to this point in Israeli policy and regional posture?
He traces the shift to a long-term rightward turn in Israeli politics, the Oslo framework's collapse in 2000, unilateralism in the West Bank, repeated Gaza conflicts, and the consolidation of a security doctrine that prioritizes permanent conflict and the expansion of settlements, leading up to the current confrontation.
