Great podcast about my favorite neighborhoods done in a really fun way. Thanks!
The West side of San Francisco is one of the most interesting areas to live and learn about its rich history. Nicole and all of her hosts are very entertaining and serious about historical insights in the area. I've learned so much about the outside lands area with this podcast. more
Fun, pithy, topical and always enjoyable to hear!
I was born and raised in SF. I love that there is a podcast that talks about my hometown, specifically, my old neighborhood in the Sunset District. I have so many fond memories of growing up there and enjoy listening to this podcast with my dad, also a San Fran native who grew up in the Parkside.
Funny and informative show that doesn't take itself too seriously. Started by two guys who live in SF but who are admittedly not historians, it fills a gap on telling the stories of SF's less touristy areas, IE the Western Neighborhoods. The addition of Nicole as co-host has really lifted the quality and spirit of the podcast. Her enthusiasm and hard work (she did a great job coordinating on the recent multi-day SF History Days virtual presentations) have elevated the quality of the show.
