  • Great topics; inane delivery

Great topics for a great city. But the research is sloppy, the podcasters are unprepared, and the delivery is derailed by sniggering opinions, mispronounced names, and constant personal reactions to historical characters and events. Let the subjects speak for themselves!

  • Nicole, please stop with the anxious laughter

This podcast used to be a 4-star review for me. But since Nicole joined and now leads the program, the content has become less interesting (even duplicative) and the overall production is hard to listen to. This is not in small part the result of Nicole’s anxious laughter, oddly animated voice and overall struggles with the new role. I’m sure Nicole brings value of some sort to the organization but she’s really turned this podcast into an amateur hour. Sorry but I’m moving on.

  • Great history podcast

The West side of San Francisco is one of the most interesting areas to live and learn about its rich history. Nicole and all of her hosts are very entertaining and serious about historical insights in the area. I've learned so much about the outside lands area with this podcast.

I'd love to hear more about the surfing and ocean related history.

Love the podcast keep up the great work!
