  • Gentle pace intelligent witty ambling through fashion

Like a good wine this improves with age every episode better than the last ... I like the mix of i terciews with great considered guests and not just those on the PR treadmill of new book launches ... love what are they reading watching visiting ... as someone who moved out of London and feels the need to keep a finger on the pulse this does it ! And I like the what are you wearing today at the end !!

  • Informative and fun

I love this podcast,I love the fact that both Janes aren’t afraid to tell it how it is,we all love fashion and clothes but the sustainability issue must change the way we all think and shop.I like their honesty about their lives and jobs and love the rants-all of which I agree with so far-I,m also a middle aged woman! Also the show notes are really helpful for finding new names and stores that we Sheffield folk can only dream of!so good to have you back,I’ve missed my fashion fix each week.

  • Veteran insiders with honest warm perspective

They have experience under their belt and all the anecdotes (real gossip) that come with it but they shop & talk about brands that millennials know and buy from. Nice alternative to the millennial lifestyle blogger podcast echo chamber

  • Love, love, love

The first 3 episodes have been varied, well thought through and well edited. I have listened to them whilst travelling alone by train and really appreciated both the lively pace and range of topics. Fashion is such a broad industry with so many avenues the two Janes have yet to explore so I’m looking forward to further listening. I also really enjoy the weekly lifestyle updates that are informative, newsy and fun.

  • Fun, funny (sometimes parody)

Like eavesdropping on a conversation between workmates: informed, fun and sometimes an unintentional parody of the *mwah mwah* fashion business. The episode on sustainable fashion featured the excellent Tamsin Blanchard but, in the end, the two Janes declined to bite (or even nibble) the hand that feeds them. It will be interesting to hear their take on #metoo in fashion, given that Jane Shepherdson knows all about Philip Green... and the issue is surely wider than this one case.

  • Qualified Fashion Expert

Ummmm....Well I'm not sure what that was really? ~ Kinda reminded me of a fashion version of ITV's "Loose Women" (albeit just a two women double act of sorts) Don't really understand the relevence of "Punks" and "Goths" in 2018? .....Clearly the Northern one, who recons shes got her finger on the pulse in terms of youth culture ....should do abit more research (I think shes spent abit too much time mulling over what to buy in Arket!!!)
