This week is a special episode of Our Last Meal. I'm sharing an episode of the podcast Good Grief, hosted by friend of the show: Nikki the Death Doula. This episode talks about things you should (and shouldn't) say to those who are grieving.

I think one of the character traits I admire most in another person is the ability to fully throw themselves into something they’re passionate about. I’m not just talking about the normal levels of fandom or interest either. I mean the people who fin... more
I’ve talked a lot about using grief to make, do or accomplish - and I really believe in that. I’ve talked with some incredible people who have channeled grief in to ways of helping others. I realized as I was talking to my guest this week though that... more
Right off the bat, I want to say that today’s episode deals with the topic of suicide. It’s not an easy discussion and may be especially hard for some listeners. If you or someone you know is struggling and contemplating suicide, please reach out to ... more
This podcast is my newest discovery. I listened to the last episode instead of the first when I subscribed, basically because CJ is my son. I got curious about the podcast when this host interviewed on my son's podcast. I am amazed at how he handles people who are grieving or discussing a time when they were. He really draws the feelings out while at the same time making the person telling their story feel secure and maybe just a little bit better.
A real master of one of the most pure an intense feelings we as humans can have. content so relatable, with conversations, and guests that will have you in tears for the best reasons. looking forward to having this in my daily queue, especially when i need to feel a little extra human that day
Anyone that has experienced grief can get something out of this show. Definitely worth a listen!
Andrew has a very lovely voice and a real knack for understanding grief. Every episode is a look into someone’s most intimate thoughts and he handles them with such grace.
Wow!! Love this podcast, very insightful
