  • Stop making us download an unwanted podcast

I set my podcasts to automatic download. Not normally a problem with the ones I want to download, but this show has been working around by making you download a completely unrelated podcast as advertisement. Can you say sellout??? Only subscribe if you want this podcast and an unwanted one as well

  • Cool

Thanks for the subscription being only $20 a year rather than $30 like most podcasts. Not trying to gouge every penny out of every customer is appreciated. I happily subscribed and am enjoying the commercial free podcasts! I’m going to have a great year!

  • Love the content, hate the advertising

As much as I love this podcast, I will stop listening until the current rotation of ads stop. I do not want to be told to “take a whiff of those pits and toes” first thing every morning. C’mon.

3569: Money is Fungible by Jeremy Jacobson of Go Curry Cracker on Financial Perspective
Q: Number 5. We are buying a new-to-us vehicle. What is the lesser of two evils: a used car loan at 5% or a 401(k) loan at 7.5%?
Prefer paying with cash if possible or using the lower interest path; if borrowing is necessary, a 401(k) loan can be acceptable but watch for market timing risks and ensure it doesn't derail long‑term retirement growth.
3569: Money is Fungible by Jeremy Jacobson of Go Curry Cracker on Financial Perspective
Q: Number 4. I want to live solely from dividend income, but like the earlier question, a lot of our funds are in retirement accounts. With only a 2% yield, dividend income alone isn't enough. What are other approaches?
Don't rely solely on dividends; blend strategies by selling appreciated assets in taxable accounts to fund withdrawals while using retirement accounts for tax planning, effectively using the tax characteristics of each account to meet cash needs.
3569: Money is Fungible by Jeremy Jacobson of Go Curry Cracker on Financial Perspective
Q: Number 3. We want to retire early and have saved 25 times our annual expenses. The problem is that most of those funds are in retirement accounts, and our taxable accounts aren't big enough to last until age 59 ½, when we can make withdrawals without penalty. What can we do?
Double or triple check that 25x is calculated with taxes included, then consider Roth IRA conversions or SEP options to bridge the gap between early access and future withdrawals, ensuring withdrawals are tax-efficient and aligned with long‑term goals.
3290: Creating a Home Gym by Ross Enamait on Working Out on A Budget
Q: What should I consider before investing in home gym equipment?
Determine how and when you will use the new equipment to ensure it's worth the investment.
3275: Where Do I Invest After Maxing Out Retirement Accounts? by Chris Reining on Building Wealth and Optimizing Taxes
Q: What should I do with my Roth IRA once I can't legally contribute to it due to income limits?
Chris suggests considering a backdoor Roth IRA strategy or simply allowing the existing Roth IRA to grow over time without contributing further.
