I am not an adoptee, but adoption has impacted our family in the past. I'm learning so much as I listen to this podcast that helps me better understand my friends who have adopted, my past situations in foster care, and even my current parenting and coparenting situations outside of the adoption world. The hosts are fun to listen to and the variety of interviews is interesting.
The Nelson’s don’t just bring you incredible research on these topics; they exemplify an ideal open adoption family! Their guests are well qualified as well, make this your first stop for open adoption info, whether you’re pursuing it right now or are just curious to learn more.
I just had to leave a review for this podcast. The Nelsons have put together a show that incorporates so much valuable information, and their interviews with guests include perspectives from all the different people involved in and impacted by the adoption process, and explores many of the issues that often go overlooked in discussions about adoption. This podcast is a great resource and I am so grateful that it exists! Keep up the amazing work!
