I have very much enjoyed this podcast, because it features two experienced lawyers, one a former fed prosecutor and the other with vast national security experience, speaking on the many intricate and frankly crazy things happening in the US political space. As a Canadian, it is a news and analysis source that I have truly enjoyed, and wish were produced more frequently than it is! I just heard, however, that next week will be the final episode, which is tragic!
I really enjoy this podcast. I was stunned and so sorry you won’t be continuing. Us non lawyers need all the help we can get. Thank you for all the great learnings.
Everything else is interesting, but I wish they stopped talking about their perfect life with their children...
I really enjoy this podcast, but yet again, Renato’s sound quality was so bad, I could only hear him by listening to Asha with the volume turned way up, which was impossible. I ended up turning the podcast off. Please fix this! Love you guys!
I can’t believe we get to virtually sit in on a conversation between these two accomplished people. It’s a great way to learn. 👍

Sharp, legally grounded analysis of current events, focusing on constitutional issues, executive power, and accountability. Discussions are led by two former federal prosecutor and FBI-turned-law-professor voices, who break down complex cases, court rulings, and policy implications with clear reasoning, relevant precedents, and real-world impact. Episodes often feature insights into democracy, the rule of law, and how legal mechanisms shape political outcomes, with occasional guests from academia and practice that broaden the perspective. Noteworthy is a strong pro-democracy stance, direct debunking of political narratives, and a mix of rigorous legal analysis with accessible storytelling that helps non-lawyers follow the arguments and impl... more
