Karpf and Loge are George Washington University associate professors who think they’re smarter and funnier than they really are. Karpf is the author of several books on digital pol... more

Covering a variety of timely topics, Karpf & Loge offer a practitioner’s view on strategic communications —and politics, and football (the original one). A fun office hours slot —30 mins. works just great— brimming with “the least common the senses” directly from Plato’s Cave —I bet it’s recorded down there— that helps understand the reality around us. Well done.
A great product from my favorite GW professor, as well as from Dave Karpf. Only suggestion is that both would do well to invest in studio-grade microphones.
Overall an insightful 30 minutes.
They do speak in page long paragraphs occasionally (they’re professors, what can you do?) but they know what they’re talking about. It’s light-hearted and won’t be a giggle fest like some other comms/political podcasts so you will actually feel smarter at the end— or at least more aware.
Muskrats, just forget about it.
Karpf & Loge offer a commentary making you feel you are in the same room, about to engage in the conversation at hand. They give the national politics de jour with insight & intelligence. Well done.
This is a legit useful show on timely topics from two top notch pros at the top of the strat comms game. And they're funny (don't tell Peter I said that) and it's only 30 mins. Come for the political hot takes, stay for the predictions of impending doom and/or Carp knowing he's going to be annoyed about something that hasn't happened yet. Note to self: Google mountain goats.
