I appreciate Dr. Goodacre’s approach, which is academic without being out of touch with the needs and interests of the everyday believer. My one “critique” is that I wish they were more frequent.
I enjoy listening to NT Pod, as it not only keeps me connected to my undergrad education at Duke, but it also continues to feed my appetite for learning. All that said, I am holding out hope for an ABBA-themed episode in the near future!
This is a wonderful podcast, presenting genuine historical research and helpful discussions for those seeking to understand the Bible better. Many such podcasts tend towards dogmatic statements so this is a refreshing alternative. Many thanks for producing these!
I really enjoy this podcast. Nice short episodes with tons of info.
This is an excellent and clear discussion of various issues in Net Testament and Christian origins. I especially recommend it to anyone who loves theology but has graduated from school (or seminary). This is stimulating discussion and Goodacre does a great job acknowledging his perspective/conclusions while still charitably explaining views of those with whom he disagrees.
