Wadd A Start!
Q: How would you describe your managerial philosophy and how does it fit with the players you've inherited at Wealdstone?
My philosophy centers on clarity, front-foot football, and transformation of the group into a cohesive unit that works hard, creates chances, and defends well. I've spoken with the players to ensure they understand how we'll operate week to week, and I'll tailor some steps as we develop chemistry and form.
Wadd A Start!
Q: What attracted you to take the Wealdstone job and how do you see the club's path to going full time in the near future?
I was attracted by the community, the potential of the squad, and the chance to build something sustainable. We'll assess the group this summer and make decisions that are right for the club financially and competitively, aiming to go full time if it's the best move for Wealdstone's long-term stability and success.
Humbles Opinion
Q: What's it been like settling or resettling into an Altrincham team under a different manager than you were with last season?
It's been good, yeah. All the boys, they welcome me. Obviously, I know some of the faces, some are new, but obviously a new philosophy, a new way of playing.
The Big Fat Quiz of the Year
Q: Which two Chesterfield players missed penalty kicks in the playoff penalty shootout?
DJ Oldacre and Jeff King missed the penalty kicks.
The Big Fat Quiz of the Year
Q: Which player scored in the playoff match between Wrexham and Grimsby?
Luke Waterfall scored the winning goal.
