It’s a shame but basically the Age/SMH has been diminishing in quality for some years. There are far too many opinion writers (most who are left leaning/Labor aligned) and just not enough hard news and analysis. Recent election coverage seems to center largely on character assasination of Morrison as opposed to deep analysis of core electoral issues - economy, health etc. Australia must be the only country who came through the pandemic with few covid deaths and 4% unemployment, although you woul... more
