I feel like this used to be way better! Sometimes I find the episodes are trying to be so digestible that they’re either condescending or the hosts seem so uninformed that they sound idiotic (eg “is Australia going to war” episode). If you’re reporting on a mass global conflict involving human lives maybe take it a little more seriously?

I started liking TDA during Covid for their direct updates and then later I started listening to the podcast…. But the show has lost its way… Nowadays it’s more America news and American politics than anything to do with Australian…. I wish they went back to their roots and focused on Australian news for Australians…. Now I’m looking elsewhere…
Have listened for years and respect the core mission of TDA but lately I’ve been reconsidering my support. There’s been a couple episodes where crucial context has been missed or there has been a obvious skew in reporting and it’s getting really frustrating.
I understand the need to make digestible sized news for audiences but I don’t think that means being clearly influenced by lobbyists. Disappointing for so called progressives. We see you
