Literally a life saver! I want to become a music therapist and this has given me so much insight. It has also helped me teach music to the kids at the daycare I work at. Keep it up!
I am so happy that I found Stephanie & Music for Kiddos! I love (and share) her passion and commitment to honoring children and meeting them where they are, and I especially love her energy. She manages to keep her songs and activities entertaining and engaging, while keeping things safe and calm. I tend to go big sometimes, but I have adopted some of Stephanie’s strategies and they bring a beautiful balance to my classes. I cannot express how much I love this podcast and Stephanie Leavell. You are amazing and an inspiration! If you are an elementary music teacher, THIS is where you need to be. Devour ALL of her resources AND website.
I recently found the Music for Kiddos podcast and I look forward to it every week. I teach a preschool music class a couple times a week and I thought Stephanie’s tips were so helpful. She has the perfect “podcast voice” (which is such a make it or break it thing for me haha) and just makes you feel relaxed & calm as you listen. Even when the episodes are more geared toward Music Therapists, I find the information extremely beneficial for myself. I am loving all that I learn here, thank you!!
