BORing. Very blah 😑
I had a long review for this show but "blah" reflects the effort the host puts into this.
Took 14 minutes of unnecessary build up from the start to get to the point of the story. The best podcasts go straight to the story. Boom
I like the stories but the delivery is flat and boring and seems unprofessional. The host really needs to stop reading the story and just tell it. There’s far too many uncomfortable pauses, mispronouncing of words, and stumbling to complete a sentence which appears to be on the next line of the page. It really sounds like she has never even seen the script before the podcast. And I don’t know who writes and edits the story but they need a real writer. It’s just too choppy. I hate being this hars... more
I love this show. I am pretty sure that I have listened to every episode. This is a show about violent crime in Alaska, but the host (Ariel) has a voice and style of speaking, that really draws you in, even if you are living nowhere near there. And, honestly -- even in regard to cases that I have previously heard about, on other podcasts.
